VIP Daily Note: Oct. 18, 2009

 Thank you to those of you who have attended the Operation Care Dallas 2nd Annual Fund raising event last night.  It was an event to remember that took place in a beautiful and supportive Intercontinental Hotel in Addison.  The music, the songs, the singing, the piano, the harp, the violin, the stories, the videos, the room filled with love and 600+ caring hearts touching every moment of this very special event for the homeless.  We now can focus on a wonderful Christmas Gift 2009, a Christmas party for 10s of thousands of homeless in Dallas and its surrounding towns.  I was so excited as I saw many of the wonderful and beautiful friends of our DFW Business Network - Ania Stewart, Elizabeth and guest, Jay Torres ftom the Star-Telegram and guests, Dr. Virgil and Martha Khrane, Christine Paul, Ava Gembala, Steve Gallegos, Bill Harris and a table of guests, Shannon and Bruce Bordelon, Jim Fortin, Wilma Howell, Greg Foster and a table of guests, and many more familiar faces that I don't have the names on my list, came up the escalator, looking so elegant, handsome, and beautiful, came in with friends and family to support this special fundraiser for the homeless, Thank you.  Bill Harris even went on stage in front of the big ballroom of guests introducing Susie, the Founder of Operation Care Dallas, before Susie spoke.  I am very grateful to good friends and excellent business community.  You all showed us that businesses, entrepreneurs of our Dallas / Ft. Worth metroplex care about their community, can come together and support this one good cause.  Thank you!!!  With grateful heart, Thank You!  If you were at the fundraiser event last night, please email me and I will make sure you get in our appreciation list.
